A haven of creativity and adventure set in the heart of the Cotswold landscape, The Bushcraft Company has to be the most exciting venue for kids Oxfordshire has to offer.
As well as hosting over 250 schools each year for leaver’s trips, team-building events and weekend excursions, The Bushcraft Company runs activity camps for kids aged 7-15 throughout the school holidays, from its headquarters at Cornbury Park.
With a dizzying array of activities on offer, from lighting fires and cooking their own supper in underground ovens, to climbing trees and navigating across the ancient forest to rescue casualties from a simulated plane crash, this is the kind of adventure every kid should be involved in.
Forget hard hats, long queues, and concrete dormitories, The Bushcraft Company has really raised the bar on kids’ activity camps, with 3,000 acres of ancient woodland to explore, a camp scattered with roaring fires and Scandinavian teepees to experience, and a host of activities that will spark even the most cynical of childish imaginations.
The Bushcraft Company’s activity camps are a great choice for parents looking for something exciting for their kids to do during the holidays. This April you can choose from three Easter Camps, and you can also book places on their Summer Camps now, which are running for July 23rd to the end of August and range from 3 day to 5 days.
The 24 hour Family Camp is also back by popular demand this spring, so head on down to The Bushcraft Company for a unique camping experience which is as cosy as it is exciting. Kids and parents alike can get stuck into all sorts of activities and games – one of the parents can stay at home with the youngest and the others can hunker down for a delicious meal around the fire and a good night’s sleep in one of the beautiful bell tents.
