A hidden gem in the heart of Jericho. Since launching as a small gift shop in 2004, Casa Rose has come a long way. Back then, style-setting Rose Lyburn spotted a gap in the market for a relaxed, charming, quirky boutique. Soon putting her stamp on it, Rose brought a new kind of shopping experience to Oxford. Sprinkled with old Hollywood glamour and Parisian chic, the shop now boasts a unique and glittering array of gifts, jewellery and women’s fashion.
Our main focus now is what our customers want, and giving them the feel-good factor. Our database recently reached 2,500; these loyal customers from all over the UK are the most important focus, what keeps us moving forward. We’re all about providing the skilled help so many shops lack on the high street, as well as beautiful, eclectic pieces. We feel we put the fun and enjoyment back into shopping, and know that women love to walk away with something special, something that can be found nowhere else. Sparkling jewels, cosmic scarves and endless heart warming gifts are only one part of our treasure trove. Rails run all around the shop, draped in our new, more focused fashion selection. Gone are the bigger labels, sensing our customers desire a more individual look and feel. Effortlessly simple yet striking designs, combined with sumptuous, high quality fabrics.
We are well known for style with a difference throughout Oxford and this year Rose took on fashion events at Ascot and Cheltenham. These shows kicked off a storm of success, and Casa Rose was well received. There will absolutely be more events in the future, and we’ll always have complimentary tickets for customers who would like to come along. These days, Rose finds herself more and more in position to be advising and styling ladies on a weekly basis, appointments are even being made! Women are looking for help, from vintage look necklaces to cosy Paris knits, you name it. We are all about bringing a look together. We don’t want to be just a shop full of shelves, we are your tailor made secret wardrobe.
At Casa Rose, we feel times are changing. Hand in hand with the likes of Marie Claire magazine, the world of e-commerce and social media will become our way forward to wider brand expansion. The team at the shop love facebook and twitter, always adding pictures of new stock and updating our followers with the things we get up too! Looking to the future, we plan on expanding towards eBay and Amazon, creating new ways for our ladies to explore planet Casa Rose. Of course, we are still looking for the perfect second branch.
Rose personally puts her success down to loyal and faithful customers, ‘Because without them where would I be. They are real women with real lives.’ Described as ‘The Chocolat of Walton Street’, Casa Rose is more than just a boutique, and this is just the beginning. |
